All Contact Form 7 submissions (including attachments) are saved in your WordPress database via Contact Form 7 Storage (DB). Even if the e-mail notifications go missing or are removed, all contact form entries and business leads are carefully kept.
Each entry contains the following information about the submission:
- Values for individual input fields (also available as individual columns in the exported CSV files).
- URL of the post or page where the contact form was sent (referrer).
- The subject line of the email sent to the contact form’s receiver.
- The date and time of the entry.
- The contact form’s recipient’s e-mail address.
- Attachments were all uploaded to the contact form.
- The submission’s IP address, browser, and device information (user-agent).
- Link to the contact form configuration page that was utilized for submission.
This plugin adds a new section called “Entries” to the WordPress dashboard’s “Contact” menu, which lists all contact form submissions in reverse chronological order. To save unnecessary clicks, each entry is given a quick preview.
The contact form entries can be filtered and sorted using the dropdown selectors at the top of the list based on the contact form used for submission and the date of submission.
GDPR Compliance
While this plugin can not guarantee GDPR compliance, it does provide the following functions to assist in that regard:
- Delete form entry data, meta information, and uploaded attachments with ease.
- Disable the storage of the user’s IP address and browser information.
