Private Beta Test Results
The plugin SuperCache PHP Script is released over Discord to 6 users on our private beta channel. These users work with Foodomaa and the test results are fantastic. The average performance gain reported is 200-300 percent.
This then led to the conclusion that the larger the user base, the more profit you can gain from SuperCache PHP Addon.
How does it work?
When an API is hit, a request generally passes to the server and the server retrieves and processes data from the database and returns the reply to the application.
Installed with the SuperCache module, each listened API call is subject to further checks whether the cache exists or not. When the cache exists, the call to the database is overwrought and many server resources are saved.
How much is the performance gain?
The performance gain for all of the heard APIs in our internal tests was 49 percent. i.e. 49 percent faster than usual data were returned to the customer application. The testing was performed in 20 stores with a total of 1200 items.
